Agenda
정재헌 건축가의 담양 호시담 카페를 재조형화했다. 직접 건축 답사를 갔을 때 호시담이 있는 산을 오르면서 느낀 감정을 담아보고 싶었다. 모형을 앞에서 봤을 때 구부러진 경사면처럼 보이도록 조합해 당시 올랐던 산길을 표현했다. 다음으로 호시담은 한옥의 기단과 담, 지붕을 현대적으로 재해석한 건축물이기에 재조형화할 때 담을 모티브로 사용해 보았다. 다양한 스케일의 담을 이용해 공간을 분리하거나 재창조해 호시담에서 느껴진 담과 자연의 조화로움을 표현했다. 특히 맨 위에서 작품을 보면 담으로 나눠진 공간을 확실하게 볼 수 있다. 호시담의 물길은 하나로 합쳐지는 하단의 여러 구멍으로, 물은 보이지 않는 보이드로 해석했다. 이처럼 호시담의 담과 자연을 작품에 담아보려 했습니다.
The Damyang Hoshidam Cafe by Jeong Jae-heon architect was re-formed. I wanted to capture the feelings I felt as I climbed the mountain where Hoshidam was located when I went on an architectural trip. The model was combined to look like a curved slope when viewed from the front to express the mountain path that was climbed at the time. Next, Hoshidam is a modern reinterpretation of the base, wall, and roof of Hanok, so I used it as a motif for the wall when remodeling. The space was separated or recreated using walls of various scales to express the harmony between the wall and nature felt in Hoshidam. In particular, if you look at the work from the top, you can clearly see the space divided by the wall. The waterway of Hoshidam was interpreted as a void with no water, while the water was interpreted as several holes at the bottom that merged into one. In this way, I tried to capture Hoshidam’s wall and nature in my work.
